Charlotte Tilbury On A Budget

Ok, so we all know about Charlotte Tilbury. We all know the Pinterest-able rose gold packaging. And we all know it's not cheap. A lipstick will set you back £23.00 (not too bad) and a highlight and contour kit will set you back £49.00 (eek!).  So I was over the moon when these gorgeous little lipstick charms were sat under my tree this Christmas. I'd actually never seen them before, and they are still available now so I thought they were a really good way of trying out Charlotte Tilbury without having to fork out sums of money. So, here are my thoughts!

Penelope Pink

This nudey pink came out a lot more nude on me than I thought it would - it also has a great lustre to it which I think makes my lips look fuller. The texture is so soft and buttery but it really stays put and doesn't bleed.

Bitch Perfect

This is a great shade, a more coral-y pink nude that I really love wearing during the day. Although they are all the same formula, I found this shade to be a little less glossy but still just as moisturising. I think this is my favourite out of the three, just because it's so easy to wear!

So Marilyn

Ok, this lipstick makes me feel like a badass. It's an amazing retro blue-based red that makes your teeth look super white. It's actually quite a good match for Mac's Ruby Woo, but rather than being matte it's got a very subtle sheen. Again - super moisturising but it doesn't bleed which, for a red lipstick, is a god send.
