So a few days ago (longer than I meant it to be..internet problemz) I did a quick look into what I have in my overnight bag in terms of skincare (link here) and know I thought I would show you the make-up that I use the next day. As was the case with the skincare this is not my 'best practise' make-up but rather the simplest and quickest alternatives. So here we go...
I like to use Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation as my base as it is a great medium level of coverage and it has a matte finish so I don't need to use a powder to mattify or set. I apply it with my fingers so that I don't need to carry a brush with me and the coverage is so good that it means that I use it under my eyes and then not need to use a concealer.
To make my eyes look a little more awake I use Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten to give a nice pearly and light nude to the eyelid. I use the MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush to quickly sweep the colour across, as it is a light nude you don't have to be perfect - no one will know! I then use a travel size Benefit They're Real Mascara to make my lashes look lovely and full.
If I've had a late night then the YSL Touche Elcat highlighter is perfect for adding some brightness to my face. I pop some under my eyes and along my cheekbones and blend with my fingertips. If I'm still looking a little dull then I use my EcoTools Bamboo Domed Bronzer Brush with the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Power and lightly dust over my checks, forehead, chin and down my nose. This gives a light sun-kissed glow.
Hopefully after all that I should be looking a little more fresh! I'd love to know what your favourite 'get-ready-quick' products are..
