Skincare: Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer and Skin Repair Light Moisturiser

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer £13.00* & Skin Repair Light Moisturiser £18.75*
I was going to do two separate reviews for each of these products, however they work so well together I thought it would make sense to do them together. I don't think I have ever seen a bad review of Liz Earle, and this review isn't going to buck that trend!

I love how the Instant Boost Skin Tonic comes in a spritzer bottle (as well as a regular toner bottle). Ever since bloggers have been talking about the Claudine Beauty Elixir I have wanted to try something similar as a skin freshener so that is how I was using the Liz Earle Skin Tonic. After cleansing my face I gave my face a spritz, there is such a lovely natural fragrance to the toner that it makes your skin routine a little extra special. I also used it during the day, over my make-up. As the spray is very fine, it doesn't effect your make-up so its a nice refresher when your skin is feeling a little tired. I really did like the product, though I see it (in the spritz form) as more of a luxury item than a regular toner - although you can spray it on a cotton pad and use it like that.

The Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser is especially for oliy/combo skin (I have combo skin). I really dislike it when moisturisers feel heavy on your skin, particularly when you are then applying make-up, but this light formula is feels....well light! When I use it under make-up it doesn't make my face look shiny and I do feel like my skin has been nourished. As I have combo skin, I do have dry patches and the Skin Repair Light Moisturiser has definitely improved them. The only thing I may say about this product is the price, at £18.50 for 50ml it is on the pricier side - however I do think that with moisturisers you normally get what you pay for. Although cheaper ones are fine (and I use them), you can see and feel the difference with ones that are slightly more expensive.

What I particularly like about Liz Earle skincare is their simplicity. There aren't hundreds of different types of products that each do a different thing, it is more just a few classic products that work. Overall both are lovely additions to my skincare routine.
