Make-up: Night Out

So I thought it might be interesting to show how I do my make-up on nights out. Basically everything becomes a bit bigger and darker - and the end result is this.

I put in a little more effort with my eye make-up on nights out. I know I lot of people go with a black smokey eye on a night out - and it looks awesome...on other people. I think it might be because I am ridiculously fair with blonde hair that black eyeshadow just doesn't work. So instead I use purple (which sounds hideous but I think it turns out ok). 

No7 Highlighter, MAC Eyeshadow (top - shale, bottom - black berry), MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil (Engraved), Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch (1.5), Max Factor False Lash Effect, MAC Liquidlast Liner (Point Black)

I use the two MAC shadows to create a smokey eye and then use some highlighter for the inside corners of my eyes. I then chuck on lots of black eyeliner (liquid on the lids and pencil in the waterline) and lots of mascara. I finally use the YSL pen just to brighten up my eye area.

I was going to do a whole post about the lipstick I am wearing (Max Factor Peony) but turns out it is discontinued - boo. 

Does anyone have any other suggestions for going out eye make-up? I feel like I'm in a bit of a rut.
