I love eye make-up. I have been honing my black eyeliner flick since Amy Winehouse released Back to Black. Still not a pro at it though. I have a bunch of eyeshadows that I use to do smokey eyes but for now I will just go through what I'm using at the moment.

MUA Eyeshadow Palette (Heaven and Earth) £4.00 - I really like this palette, I'm pretty boring when it comes to eyeshadow so I usually only wear neutrals. I was really quite surprised by how pigmented this product was, considering the price. Lots of people have compared it to the Urban Decay Naked Palette which I actually haven't tried so can't really comment but the price is obviously much more reasonable. I apply with either the MAC 239 eyeshadow brush or the Bobbi Brown eye shadow brush. For these photos I used the shadow three in from the left on the bottom row as a sort of base.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR (On And On Bronze) £4.99 - I then used this cream shadow for the crease and across the outer side of the lid. I like using cream and power eye shadows together as I think they blend better and don't disappear into each other. The formula of these shadows are great, really pigmented and last for such a long time. The only thing I would say about this particular shade is that it doesn't come out as bronze as it looks. On my eyelid it looks more of a browny-grey. I still really like though.
MAC Liquidlast Liner (Point Black) £14.00 - This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. Nothing has compared to it. Mainly because it is the most waterproof and smudge-proof eyeliner I have ever come across. It will literally go no where once you've applied it. I always fine with other eyeliners that after a while your 'flicks' have faded or smudged off. Not with this at all. The two downsides are that it is so long lasting that it takes some strong eye make-up remover to get off. It also has a pretty useless applicator brush - it is too limp (for want of a better word) so it is super hard to you. To combat this I just use an eyeliner brush - either Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush or MAC 209 Eye Liner Brush.
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara (Black) £10.99 - Finally I use this amazing mascara. Just like with eye-liner I'm pretty particular with my mascara. I can't be dealing with any smudging or flaking etc. This one is so good for nicely defined, long lashes and I don't get any smudges under my eyes or bits of black flaking off. And because it's not a waterproof mascara it is really quite easy to get off. I can't see myself using anything else for a long while.

I hope these photos show just how much of a difference the eye make-up makes. This is the kind of thing I wear during the day. When I'm going out it basically just gets darker, bigger and has false lashes. Glam ting. Next up is...eyebrows.

Your eye make-up looks really pretty. I am so desperate to get my hands on this MUA eyeshadow palette but they don't stock it in any of the superdrugs in my area, I might have to order it online because I want it so badly! I only ever wear brown eyeshadow as I find other colours are a little too harsh on me.

It really is a very useful palette. I'm the same with colours...I just think that brights suit people with darker or more olive skin tones better. LV x

Ah that must be annoying, tbh though I see loads of things from America or Canada that we can't get here. If only it was cheaper to fly over! LV x
DeleteI haven't tried that MUA palette but I have a few similar shades in my collection. I'm the same as you, I tend to stick to neutral colours on my eyes :) This look is lovely!
